Kantana Edutainment International, a unit of Kantana Group, was in partnership with Qooco to launch the internet-based Qooco Talk app. Kantana Group chairman Jareuk Kaljareuk said more workers with English-language skills could enhance the country's competitiveness. In its pilot project, some 1,000 students in Chiang Rai municipality schools used Qooco for four months and made 62% progress in their English skills.
